Getting in under the wire for Lori's tag challenge. I had hopes to do a few more but it isn't going to happen. But I promise to do all of the ones I missed on my own, maybe for a challenge.
This is called 'using what you have.' I got this idea from my brother. He made simple birch bark tags last year. I have lots of bark, so I simply cut them up, punched the star shaped hole, added copper cording, the large sequin star and the glass star on top. You can write on these with a Sharpie, and the back is flatter, so you could write on the back too. I also added a diecut to one, I may change that for the others.

Jean, these tags are absolutely brilliant my friend! I would never have thought to use birch bark for tags and I love them! The copper cording and gold stars are the perfect complements. ~Karen.

The last time I was at my Mom's for thanksgiving we combed the woods and I shipped home a big stash of birch bark. I think this is so very fabulous Jean
